Dr Christopher Topar is an orthopaedic surgeon who has set up a private practice in Berlin. In addition to general orthopaedics, he also specialises in sports medicine, chiropractic/manual therapy and acupuncture. The specialisation of Dr Topar is pain therapy and the search for the source of pain. His focus is on minimally-invasive spinal therapy and interventions on joints, such as the shoulder, knee and hip. He received his qualifications both in the USA and in Germany (Orthopädische Chirurgie München). Since then, Dr Topar has been applying these techniques with great success and is continuing to develop them. In addition, he regularly works as an instructor. Dr Topar is a member of the board of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Wirbelsäulentherapie (DGWT) (German Spinal Intervention Society) and a founding member of the GIW (Gesellschaft für Interventionen an der Wirbelsäule)(Spinal Intervention Society), as well as being a member of the International Spinal Intervention Society (ISIS).
